FUSION is designed with patented lens system and driving circuits that enable its
accomplishment of the highest power and the most uniform curing beam. This is best validated
by the distribution of irradiance at the tip of four top naming brand light curing units including
FUSION, Demi, Bluephase 16i, and Flashlite Magna. FUSION delivers the highest irradiance and
the most uniform beam with an average power of over 2700 mW/cm2 across its center beam of
4mm diameter. The high intensity beam ensures consistent and uniform composite hardness
within the shortest amount of curing time.

More important to its success is the soliton-like beam propagation of FUSION light that
compensates light dispersion through its unique focused beam pattern enabling its achievement
that matches or even exceeds Plasma Arc curing light. Intrinsically, curing light diffracts and
disperses quickly while exiting the optical tip of a curing light. This is particularly true for LED
curing light. Historically, this has been a major problem since all the manufacturers only provide
power specifications at the optical tip. In a clinical environment, the relevant working distance is
typically mａore than 3 millimeters away from the optical tip limiting curing depth typically to 2 to 3
millimeters and leading to sometimes unpredictable curing results due to the sensitivity and
tolerance of light intensity over distance. Overcure is typically used to cover this uncertainty.

With our patented lens system, FUSION is able to maintain high power intensity over distance.
This new technology minimizes light dispersion away from the light tip. Dr. Richard Price
demonstrated this soliton-like beam propagation comparing with three other main brands on the
market including DEMI, Bluephase 16i, and Flashlite Magna while FUSION has the highest
irradiance throughout the propagation up to 8mm distance. At 8mm distance away from the tip,
FUSION still maintains over 800 mW/cm2 of power. This is further validated by Dr. Fred
Rueggeberg comparing with 22 other LED curing lights, FUSION has the highest power density at
5 millimeter away from the tip and provides more than 600 mW/cm2 or two times the intensity of
other top naming brand LED lights at 10 millimeters away from the tip. As a result, FUSION allows
the clinician consistent, high quality results at any normal working distance. FUSION cures 2-
millimeter A3 and lighter shades in five seconds and can cure composites as deep as 10
millimeters, enabling Class II composite restoration in a single step. For orthodontists, FUSION
comes as the best handy tool for bonding brackets. The unique focused beam gives much more
power penetrating beneath brackets enabling metal brackets curing in just 3 seconds.
